Hi! I am
Eugene Fei
I am a Neurobiology/Biotechnology/Public Health Student at UC San Diego.
About Me
I’m Kazune Eugene Fei. It’s pronounced Kah-zoo-neigh, but you can just call me Eugene if you want. I am a Neurobiology/Biotechnology/Public Health Student at UC San Diego.
I read a lot of books and take my Lumix FZ80 with me everywhere in an attempt to capture key memories. I am also an avid curler; I’ve won at the provincial level many times and I’m currently a coach for junior curlers.
In the future, I hope to work on several distinct projects within the medical field. One is UCD, or unexplained cardiac death, a sudden cardiac arrest leading to death that is very under-researched as of now. Another is the human connectome project, which aims to map the brain’s connections and put it in a computer, perhaps one day making it think like a human. Lastly is the effect of brain hemorrhages on memory, both retrograde and anterograde.
Experience
I have a deep passion for my work, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to do it every day!
